The valuation target company is a Taiwan-based biotech company mainly engaged in the research and development (“R&D”) of medical products, and is specialized in botanical drugs extracted from an herb used as sedative in traditional Chinese medicine and vitreous substitute to eye surgeons.
For this engagement, we performed valuations on equity interest in related to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical businesses which is in R&D stages for our client’s contemplated divestiture and potential separate listing of their subsidiary.
